Dr Vimee Bindra, MS, is a renowned Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. Vimee Bindra completed her basic medical education from R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata (1998-2003) and did herpostgraduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Kolkata (2005-2008), followed by a Diploma in Advanced GynaecologicalEndoscopy from BEAMS Hopsitals Pvt Ltd, MUMBAI under the guidance of Dr Rakesh Sinha. She has done her overseas advanced Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy training from Clermont Ferrand (FRANCE). She has won various academic awards at undergraduate and post-graduate level. She has a keen interest in the field of Gynaecological Endoscopy and Fertility enhancing surgeries. She has a vast surgical experience in different types of laparoscopic and hysteroscopy surgeries. Largest uterus removed laparoscopically by her weighs 2.2 kg. She has received her Advanced Reproductive Technology(ART) Training from Ruby Hall, Pune. Along with her medical education she has done Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) from ICFAI. She has presented various scientific papers in conferences at state and national level and also entered her name in Indian and International Journals. She is an author of two well known medical books in the field of Gynaecology and Obstetrics by the leading medical publishers of India. She has a good command on five languages, English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Telugu.
