PATERSON CANCER CENTER (P) LTD.is a non-governmental organization, a registered company bearing the number 18/45194/2000,which was intended to treat the maximum number of cancer patients with the state of art equipment and a perfect quality assurance within the affordable cost. It is promoted by Dr.S.Vijayaraghavan, a leading Clinical Oncologist in Chennai, along with highly connected, patriotic board of Directors. One among them was none other than the Former President of India, Dr.A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM. Paterson Cancer Center was inaugurated on the 19th of June 2003 by the then President of India.Dr.A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM and is striving hard to set standards in comprehensive Cancer Care. PATERSON CANCER CENTER is fully equipped with the specialists for Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Immuno Oncology and the suitable supportive care system. It has more than 20 beds as indoor facility, State of the art Telecobalt therapy called Elite 100, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, Low Dose Rate Brachytherapy, fully equipped physics department for dosimetry, quality assurance, treatment planning system and radiation safety. Paterson Cancer Center has a mini Operation Theatre to do routine Biopsies and dressing with short General Anaesthesia procedures. Eighteen doctors of different specialities practicing in Paterson Cancer Center. Vijaya Health Centre Premises help us to outsource its diagnostic, laboratory and Pharmacy Services. Paterson Cancer Center catered to the needs of more than 5000 cancer patients so far and continues its pursuit to serve the humans with humane approach.
