Dr Dasarathi Sarkar

Dr. Dasarathi Sarkar is an experienced Kolkata-based Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist. After completing his MBBS (1974) and MD in Medicine (1979), Dr. Dasarathi Sarkar added a DCH (Diploma in Child Health) to his qualifications. Later, in 1997, he completed the Post-Doctoral DM degree in Endocrinology, from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi. Dr. Sarkar worked as Specialist Medical Officer (Medicine) for 15 years in West Bengal Health Service. He was then Consultant Endocrinologist in the Dept. of Endocrinology at SSKM Hospital & IPGME&R, Kolkata, for 12 years, before his current postings.
