Being from a non medical family background it was always an inspiration and dream to become a Doctor, accomplished with skills and motivated to reach out to the common people in a way which was perhaps not possible in any other profession. I did my undergraduation from St. John Medical College, Bangalore. Post M.B.B.S., I worked in a rural hospital in Tamil Nadu for two years . I did my D.N.B. in General Medicine from St. Martha Hospital, Bangalore. During my post graduation, I also worked in Jaydeva Institute Of Cardiology and the prestigious NIMHANS ( Neurology and Psychiatry) in Bangalore. After completing my D.N.B., I worked in Wockhardt Hospital, Bangalore for nearly five and half years in Critical Care Medicine. At that time I also had my training in respiratory medicine under the guidance of Dr Ravi Mehta ( Interventional Pulmonologist). Then I came to Delhi and worked in Critical Care Medicine Department in Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. Following a enriching experience I worked as a consultant and Intensivist in the role of ICU incharge in Nova Orthopaedic And Spine Centre, Nehru Enclave. Presently I am working in Fortis Escorts Heart Institute as Consultant Critical Care Medicine. It has been a thrilling journeythrough the myriads of time, accumulating a vast experience and knowledge to reach the present status.
